Description

Position Overview Discuss the details, features and general product information with the walk-in customers and potential buyers and reports to the Regional/Local Retail Manager. Job Duties & Responsibilities In charge of overseeing the sales of the showroom environment, including making sales to keeping track of sales reports to conducting performance reviews of Sales staff. Handling financial concerns within the showroom, including forecasting sales projection, sales budgeting and meeting set sales plans. Aware of business protocol in dealing with customers and able to field every type of customer inquiry. Managing administrative work from payroll, staff leaves, allotting bonuses, and monitoring accounting for the petty cash within the showroom. Responsible for managing showroom staff, including monitoring the performance of sales staff and collaborating with employers to create a healthy, productive work environment. Responsible for store operations including but not limited to, floor management, merchandising, inventory management and sales management. In charge of leading and motivating the sales team on a daily basis, as well as identify training needs and provide training when necessary, as well as coaching newly hired staff to perform their jobs at a high level of competency, and terminate staff members when necessary. Requirements A college degree or other technical equivalent degrees or equivalent work experience is required. Previous management experience is necessary and basic knowledge of Luxury Furniture is preferred. Other Skills/Abilities Strong written / oral communication and people skills. Strong presentation and sales techniques Attention to detail and work effectively under stress. Confident, motivated and team-oriented attitude. Knowledge of MS office suite.
